Exec Comm - End of Year Holiday Message

The end of the year is time for celebration and reflection. A time to appreciate all that we have, from the teammates we cherish to the roof over our heads. A time to surround ourselves with people who bring out the best in us and make us feel most at home.

Personally, I’ll be reflecting on all the things I am most grateful for. My family’s health and happiness. My career and my relationship with Allstate. And of course, the connections I get to make with each of you, as we continue to build the future of this organization.

We’ve all heard countless times that there is no ‘I’ in TEAM—our combined strength is what makes us successful. But that doesn’t mean that your individual commitment and contributions go unnoticed. We take lessons from our successes as well as our challenges. They help connect us to our purpose, our values and each other. And people who connect with the work they do have a tendency to do great work.

So no matter what you celebrate this time of year or how you choose to make merry, I encourage you all to spend at least a few moments reflecting on all that we’ve accomplished. Then do me a favor and spare a look toward the future. After all, a new year means a new beginning. It’s hard not to gaze at the horizon and imagine everything that could be. I believe the best is yet to come for all of us.
